Unofficial Start of Summer!

Berry Salad! I know summer is about to start when we have berry salad, cherries, blueberries and strawberries all mixed together! I will not want to look at this in August but boy, I love it now!

Teddy Bear Picnic Time!

Always love this time of year in Kindergarten. The children seem so grown up compared to when they first walked through my Kindergarten door.It is a time when we can have special times planned. During the Teddy Bear Picnic, children bring their special teddy bears ( or other favorite stuffed animal ).We meet families on the playground lawn, have snacks, mingle with friends and have a great time!

Wow it's that time of the year again! Time to get ready for sunshine (Boy, I need that Vitamin D), butterflies and flowers----Flowers for Mom!

Cinco de Mayo in Kindergarten

We have lots of fun celebrations in Kindergarten! My daughter read to my class, "Is Your Mama an Iguana?", a Spanish/English book. My English Language Learner students (those whose primary language is Spanish) loved it! They were thrilled that they could understand it all.

Let's Try Again

Although I am relatively new to blogging, I was really enjoying it. I started getting really stressed out during the past week when my e-mail was hacked into. This is the first time anything like this has ever happened to me.I got e-mails at my work e-mail actually from me. My last name was slightly misspelled but the e-mails were coming from my home e-mail and they were all color sheets or something pertaining to my work in Kindergarten. It was very strange and unnerving. Hopefully this has passed and I am going to try again!
