Thinking Green and Spring!

Just a few worksheets I've come across:

March Manners!

In my Kindergarten, I have the "Leprechauns " visit. I start a few days before St. Patrick's Day by leaving a note, footprints and a very messy room. It is amazing how quickly the children clean up those messes! We learn how to write a friendly letter and we teach those "Leprechauns" manners. I've attached a note copy, color sheets and a copy of the "Magic Penny" note that the "Leprechauns" leave for the children to thank them for teaching them manners.

One Fish, Two Fish...

We are still rhyming with Dr. Seuss! Love these rhyming stories, could read them forever. As I've said before, my husband is an artist and often does presentations in my Kindergarten. When he reads One Fish, Two Fish, it brings me back to when my son was a little guy, he always requested that as a bedtime story! My husband, Gary, stops reading throughout the story and draws pictures. My kiddos love it!

Happy Valentine's Day

My Fellow Kindergarten Teachers: Have a 'love'ly day!

Keep Calm and...

A great idea for helping to calm children:

Love this idea! A "What Bugs You?" Jar:

A Good Listener activity sheet:

Let's all remember our words make an impact!

A Favorite Read!

One of my favorite books and a sequencing story paper that can also be used when you're reading a chapter book to the class.

Promote Friendship!

In our Kindergarten, we are a family. I always try to emphasize that we are all friends here. A couple "friendship" activity worksheets that can be adapted with printing or just drawing:

Organization Helps!

I found this idea and it seems like it would really work well. A place for everything and everything in it's place---you can find all that you need when you need it, at your fingertips:

I may have posted this before but I love my bookwagon. I keep it filled with different  books according to various themes and the children can choose them when it's centertime. I keep it organized and ready when needed.

Another Snow Day!!!

This winter is certainly turning out to be quite a snowy one! Report cards are done and I'm ready for Valentine's Day and 100th day of school so I am relaxing on this snow day. Looks beautiful---when you can look at it through a window!

Celebrate the 100th Day of School!

The 100th day of school has been put off for us because of our unavoidable snow days. It is still approaching for my Kindergarten kiddos. We count and count and count and learn and have fun!
                                                               A great story:

Some fun activity worksheets:

Please Spring, Come Quickly!

Two beautiful scenes! I've always said I love living in Northeastern Pa where I can enjoy all 4 seasons and truly appreciate Spring when it comes! This year I will so very truly appreciate Spring when it arrives!
Which scene would you prefer?
